Este trabalho objetiva verificar a existência de “Market Timing” no mercado acionário brasileiro. Os nossos estudos foram divididos em três análises distintas. Primeiro verificamos a presença de “market-timing” nos IPOs e posteriormente expandimos para as ofertas subseqüentes de ações (OSAs). Por último verificamos a persistência dos efeitos do “Market Timing” sobre a estrutura de capital das empresas. Os resultados dos nossos estudos mostram que as empresas brasileiras tendem a emitir mais capital quando o mercado está aquecido. Essas emissões acontecem através de IPOs e de OSAs e alteram a estrutura de capital dessas empresas. Com o passar do tempo essa alteração na estrutura de capital tende a diminuir.

Educação escolar para crianças: o que dizem sujeitos deste direito?

The text aims to discuss the problems that this would be set: - What are the concepts of public school children about their right to primary education, as required step in the Basic Education? - What are conducted by children on the elementary school, in terms of its structure, teaching, and acquisitions provide for their users, especially when it comes to literacy? In order to answer these questions, we conducted within the qualitative a case study within twenty children of the early years of elementary public school, ten of the School Mauricio de Sousa and ten children of the School Monteiro Lobato. with construction procedures of data, we worked with observation, semi-directive interview, questionnaire and document analysis. In analyzing the data, two categories emerged: right to education and school for children. The first focuses on what children think about the legal guarantee to school, seeking to understand if they understand the educational area as a right and relate what the law says and the reality in which they participate. The category for school children, including their purposes, characteristics, space literacy and its relationship with the teacher. In this sense, we comment, taking as its founding, the speech of children in their schools, focusing on how they perceive the school in terms of its structure and functioning, relations with the knowledge and the other children. With regard to child rights, the appreciation of Brazilian children should be the basis of the struggle for a more just, democratic, nondiscriminatory. However, children show not recognize education as a right, but as one who deserves the credit, that is, those children who are always attentive, do not fight and do not complain. In interviews, children express a simple wish child that the school had toys. A school for children should be a place with its own characteristics: cheerful, lively, colorful, which included the same time, security and challenges. Children point to the hope that the course of action the teacher was guided by respect their differences in a more emotional, especially with regard to issues of authority and discipline of the group. The most important learning is for all subjects learning to read / write, differing in the idea of how to learn. Unfortunately, for some students, learning reading and writing appears as a difficult and enjoyable process is not perceived by some subjects up to recognize the instrumental writing. Toxoplasmosis in Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins (Sousa chinensis) from Queensland

Objective: To describe the clinical signs, gross pathology, serology, bacteriology, histopathology, electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry findings associated with toxoplasmosis in four Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins (Sousa chinensis) that stranded in Queensland in 2000 and 2001. Design: Clinical assessment, gross necropsy, and laboratory examinations. Procedure: Necropsies were performed on four S chinensis to determine cause of death. Laboratory tests including serology, bacteriology, histopathology and transmission electron microscopy were done on the four dolphins. lmmunohistochemistry was done on the brain, heart, liver, lung, spleen and adrenal gland from various dolphins to detect Toxoplasma gondii antigens. Results: Necropsies showed all of four S chinensis that stranded in Queensland in 2000 and 2001 had evidence of predatory shark attack and three were extremely emaciated. Histopathological examinations showed all four dolphins had toxoplasmosis with tissue cysts resembling T gondii in the brain. Tachyzoite stages of T gondii were detected in the lungs, heart, liver, spleen and adrenal gland, variously of all four dolphins. Electron microscopy studies and immunohistochemistry confirmed the tissues cysts were those of Tgondii. All four dolphins also had intercurrent disease including pneumonia, three had peritonitis and one had pancreatitis. Conclusion: Four S chinensis necropsied in Queensland in 2000 and 2001 were found to be infected with toxoplasmosis. It is uncertain how these dolphins became infected and further studies are needed to determine how S chinensis acquire toxoplasmosis. All four dolphins stranded after periods of heavy rainfall, and coastal freshwater runoff may be a risk factor for T gondii infection in S chinensis. This disease should be of concern to wildlife managers since S chinensis is a rare species and its numbers appear to be declining.

El impacto de la Primera Invasión Inglesa a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires en 1806, en la política del virrey José Fernando de Abascal y Sousa para el Virreinato del Perú

Resumen: José Fernando de Abascal y Sousa recibió la noticia de la invasión inglesa de 1806 a Buenos Aires, en el inicio de su administración como virrey del Virreinato del Perú. A partir de esta primera misiva enviada por el virrey Rafael de Sobre Monte, comenzó un intercambio epistolar entre las dos autoridades sobre dicho acontecimiento, a partir del cual se fueron perfi lando las preocupaciones, cuidados y políticas iniciales de defensa aplicadas por Abascal a su jurisdicción.

Introducción: La presente Sentencia contempla la nulidad de un matrimonio en que las partes tuvieron un noviazgo de más de cuatro años y una convivencia matrimonial de dos años y medio, en la que no hubo hijos. La separación de las partes definitiva tuvo lugar porque el convenido era incapaz de instalar una vida verdaderamente conyugal. Dr. Alejandro W. Bunge, Juez de la Rota, publicado en el libro “Pius et Prudens”, con el título de “Una Sentencia integradora”1. Además, el indicado comentario, se encuentra en el contexto de un generoso elogio a la persona de quien suscribe por la preocupación acerca de la indebida omnipresencia de las causas psíquicas de nulidad matrimonial en los Tribunales eclesiásticos, cuando muchas veces es más ajustada a la verdad y se deberían tener en cuenta, las causas éticas, concretamente las exclusiones de algunos de los fines o de las propiedades esenciales del matrimonio que tiene lugar por parte de los cónyuges...

A bancada de Brasília na Constituinte quer o consenso em torno das eleições para eleger o primeiro governador da cidade. Todos concordam com a autonomia política já aprovada na Comissão de Sistematização. Ainda não há consenso porém em torno da data das eleições. Falta definir se serão em 1988, 1989 ou 1990. O Plenário da Constituinte voltou a se reunir esta tarde para discutir a mudança do Regimento. Desta vez será discutido o projeto apresentado pela Mesa e que incorpora as propostas já votadas pelo Centrão. Tanto o PMDB como o Centrão já fizeram acordo em torno de 90% da proposta da Mesa. Mas a questão da Preferência ainda é problema. O PMDB não concorda com preferência automática para emendas substitutivas com 280 assinaturas. A posição do Centrão é de insistir na preferência automática. O novo Regimento irá valer para a etapa final da Constituinte.
